Stingle Photos is an open-source, end-to-end encrypted media gallery application that provides backup, sharing and cross-platform sync functionality without sacrificing convenience.
The backups are really slow and the progress freezes randomly, so keeping track of progress is a bit unrealistic.
There's no way to export any of the photos locally. Security-wise I totally understand why..but if Stingle has my photos, I have zero ways to share or truly access the encrypted photos. The apps that come up for "sharing" have size limits. Could you make it possible to export photos to the file explorer app so I can actually use the photos? Or at least make local decryption possible so I can decide what to do with my photos instead of Stingle keeping them locked in the app?
Please check your connection, backups are usually very fast
Export function is already there, you probably didn't noticed it. Just select some photos/videos and you will see open lock icon in the action bar, if you long press it it will tell it's name "Save to Gallery". It will decrypt and save selected files to the SD card
Stingle is great at what it does.
Two issues:
The backups are really slow and the progress freezes randomly, so keeping track of progress is a bit unrealistic.
