11 years ago We just released v1.1.1 of STIX-Word which addresses the reported issues. The zip bundle to download is STIX-v1.1.1-word.zip.

I'm using Windows XP 32 bit and Office 2007. I also tried wordpad and notepad. In notepad STIX, STIX math, and STIX general showed everything (all characters plus their shift variants on a standard keyboard). In changing to STIXVariants only the lower case w and pipe sign would show. Size 5 symbol would only show the underscore and the other size symbols would only show the characters ()_[]{}\/. Wordpad would not let the characters "change into" the STIX fonts from another font, i.e. if I type something in Arial, highlight them choose Calibri, the font changes. It will not change if I choose any of the STIX fonts. A weird issue with Word; as you scroll through the fonts list, when a font is highlighted you see what the change will be in the document before you actually select it. With some of the STIX symbol fonts when they are highlighted the only characters that are visible are the single and double quotes. One the selection is actually made however they disappear again. I wonder if this could be some sort of graphics driver issue with older graphics cards. I'm using a work computer with no way for me to change to a newer graphics card or driver to check this idea.
