7 years ago There's also an RT regarding Overlapping Names in the Namespace as there is another Nagios::nrpe which is I believe doing some script automation? We should maybe work with the other maintainer to get that resolved. https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=99485
Admittedly I should've looked at this a long time ago.

7 years ago I am unable to find ”the other” Nagios::nrpe packet via metacpan.org or search.cpan.org. Could it have been removed?

7 years ago There's a good chance it was. I'm unsure if CPAN allows for Packages to be removed at all.
Looking here: https://metacpan.org/author/AVERNA There's no NRPE Package anymore.
I think this can be closed then. You should be able to deal with that, right?

7 years ago Yes, I will try to close the RT ticket.
The repository should be renamed to Nagios-NRPE so we can use the tar balls created by github for direct upload to pause. Also there are still some minor issues reported by Kwalitee that should be fixed for next release: https://cpants.cpanauthors.org/release/MICKE/Nagios-NRPE-1.0.2
