Games Resonance and The Journey Down do not properly detect screen size #70

Hi,

I am using the latest respun iso. When playing The Journey Down in Fullscreen it adds borders so that the screen is used just by a third of the game. I am suspecting the game to get the wrong screen resolution information from somewhere.

The same seems to be valid for the game Resonance which is based on adventure game studio engine. There the cursor does some weird jump moves when you would get out of the area that kind of would resemble the screen resolution of the portrait mode. I used the linux versions for both games.

Games based on SDL or likely in fullscreen seems to have problems due to the native resolution of the screen. You can try to run them in windowed mode and see if it helps. I don't know if there is some workaround. And i can't try it for a while as my device need to be sent to GPD for assistance.

I see. The cursor jumps in windowed Resonance as well.

But I already played with one of the first respun isos - the one with the first battery adapted kernel - and there I did not have the jumping cursor problem in Resonance.

You can try to run update script and see it it helps. Also can you try to post the result of problem-reporting script? Just to have your current configuration known to do some test
