Kernel: 4.14.0-rc3-audio-gpdpocket Desktop Environment: Display: :0 Monitor: DSI1 connected primary 1920x1200+0+0 right (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 95mm x 151mm
Scripts: gpdfand gpdscreen gpdscreen-indicator
EFI: [ 0.000000] efi: EFI v2.40 by American Megatrends
EFI Release Date: 06/28/2017

So, pulseaudio gets killed during starting. Seems it's related to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100488#c15

In particular, adding query-hw-device = yes to the [Mapping analog-stereo] section in /usr/share/pulseaudio/alsa-mixer/profile-sets/default.conf did the trick and now it works fine for me.

Great find! I see that is still a work in progress. With that flag audio on HDMI works? Or it just dont gets killed when connected to an HDMI monitor? ( So it works by speakers)

This flag only fixes broken pulseaudio after disconnecting HDMI. While HDMI connected the only sound is through speakers.

I will try to investigate sound through HDMI later, because HDMI audio device successfully discovered by ALSA, so there is a chance to get it work.

UPD: seems found right audio device for HDMI output, will try to make it current automatically when HDMI connected plughw:CARD=Audio,DEV=1

Nice! So audio works on HDMI switching to that port? My gpd will be shipped back this Monday, I will try to do some test for the auto switch! Thanks
