Hey,
the debug log says
[maybeIsolate] isolation is disabled
So it seems that you toggled isolation globally. That's either the keyboard short Alt+i or the exclamation point icon in the popup
I saw that message but was wondering how to reactivate it and if it was linked with your extension. Shame on me, and big big thank to you!
Is there any other place I can see/access the menu as the round icon on the upper bar? I am asking the question as I've a customized UI (using Tree Tab + hiding the title bar), so I don't see the Temporary Containers' main icon. Typically, would it be possible to have an option to have a regular extension icon to add in the toolbar?
[Edit] hmm, there is the option "Show icon in the address bar that reveals the popup"... Already nice, yet a regular icon on the toolbar would be better, if that's possible...
Glad it helped.
You can right click on the toolbar background, select "customize" and move the TC icon to the toolbar. I'm also planning to move the icon into the toolbar by default in #396 (though, that doesn't affect existing users).
Other than that it might be useful to activate the "Automatically re-enable Isolation after n seconds" option in the advanced isolation settings.
Ah, cool for #396. Right now, am I supposed to see a TC icon available when in toolbar customization mode? I double check and I see none. Oh, I should have said it before: thank you very much for your time and effort on this extension...
Thanks, glad you find it useful.
To move the icon around you have to unhide the titlebar (navbar) first, after that you can hide it again.
ok, thank you.
Hi On Firefox 79, using Temporary containers v1.9.1 on Windows 10, everything used to work fine for weeks. I have a few Per Domain rules set for search website (startpage, duckduckgo), so that any click (left, middle, etc.) on a link returned from a search result page opens in a new containers. But I realize today this no more works: all clicks open new tabs not in new container but in the very same container as the one I navigate from. I wonder what can has changed (I haven't installed a new extension, I still have ublock, noscript, etc. activated).
This is the debug log, it shows an error but I can't interpret it. Can anybody help? Thank you!
In that example, I'm on www.startpage.com and I click on a link to the website jardinage.lemonde.fr
