Multi-Account Containers integration does not respect "Automatically create Deletes History Temporary Containers" #591

Open Conduitry opened 2 years ago

Conduitry commented 2 years ago

Actual behavior

When enabling Multi-Account Containers integration and also enabling "Automatically create Deletes History Temporary Containers", links from one of the containers used by Multi-Account Containers (but which are not specifically handled by that container) are opened in a regular temporary container.

Expected behavior

I would expect them to be opened in a Deletes History Temporary Container.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install Multi-Account Containers
  2. Configure it to always open links for a specific domain in a specific container
  3. Enable the Multi-Account Containers integration in Temporary Containers
  4. Enable - Automatically create "Deletes History Temporary Containers"
  5. Open a page handled by a container in the Multi-Account Containers extension
  6. Click a link that leads to a domain not handled by any container
  7. Observe the type of container the link is opened in
