Weird Hyperlink behaviour (Linux version) #142

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In Inform 7 I used Inline Hyperlinks by Erik Temple to create
2. Add a whole bunch of hyper links, the problem seems to kick in about the 15
mark.
3. Click hyperlinks a lot, eventually the wrong response will happen.
There is a transcript attached, and a sample ulx and inform file.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Clicking a hyperlink should run the appropriate response from the Hyperlink
table.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I've only tested linux. Both the Ubuntu 10.10 version (2009-08-25-2) and a
version built from the sources on the website are affected. Both the git and
glulxe backends are affected.

Please provide any additional information below.
The web based interpreter: Quixe does not have these problems so that's why I
think it's a bug in Gargoyle rather than Inform. I would test with other glulx
interpreters, but I don't know of any in linux.

Sorry about the bug. Someone else reported it recently and a fix is already in
the trunk. If you build from the latest SVN sources, all hyperlinks should work.
