General warning about contact MP via Social media #48

My local member seems to think it was automatically okay to just access the electoral roll to find information about me or if was a real person!

Anyone else attempting to contact a Fed MP this a warning. You may get a phone call or they'll call everyone in your area with your name!

I wonder if it might be worth dropping the Facebook contact option, so they don't have to prove people's identity.

We pull their Facebook page from their official listing on APH -> http://www.aph.gov.au/Senators_and_Members/Parliamentarian?MPID=148150

You need include your contact details (home address atleast) or your request will not be answered or taken seriously
