There needs to be an effort to get people who aren't "internet" types involved in this issue. Most poeple would probably assume that it wouldn't affect them. There needs to be a section of this effort that is offline, or real world. So posters, flyers, radio TV, whatever, in order to connect to more people. By limiting a campaign to online, we limit the exposure. Social media is a great thing, but i think a traditional, grassroots campaign would also do wonders.
I have a few ideas, but I think firstly this campaign should look to collaborate with EFA/Citizens Not Suspects.
(as well as GetUp!, political parties e.g. Greens/Future/Pirates/Sex, other civil liberties organisations)
