Thoughts?

daallgeier commented 3 years ago

That's a good question; can we pull them over? Or we go in and comment on them. There are currently 81 open pull requests.

Or we go in and comment on them.

That's what I was thinking.

daallgeier commented 3 years ago

More than half of these 81 are older from 2020 and before.. Shall we just go with 2021 and beyond for now?

Proposal: Let's comment in each of the 2021 PRs with a link to this repo and check back in a week from today to assess.

daallgeier commented 3 years ago

sounds good to me.

agreed!

I actually went back a good bit further. Most of those are still valid and are from significant vendors that likely affect a lot of people. So I covered most of 2020 and some of 2019 as well. I may have missed some, so please feel free to check that. (Looks like we already have our first PRs from it too)

I also skipped the Issues raised by Rob for obvious reasons. We may want to create some he had open himself ourselves, like Pivotal Tracker for example.

daallgeier commented 3 years ago

Oh awesome! Did you already go through and comment on many of them?

derekcwhite commented 3 years ago

@mbainter thank you for going through all of the open PRs in robchahin/sso-wall-of-shame and commenting on them! Much appreciated.

The link you used in your comments to make people aware of this fork unfortunately points to http://stopthessotax/sso-wall-of-shame instead of https://github.com/stopthessotax/sso-wall-of-shame :( I see a few PRs have received comments with the correct link, and I'll go through the rest and comment with the correct link later today if you don't beat me to it. :)

Shoot, I guess that shorthand only works if it's plain text, not if you use it in a markdown link.

derekcwhite commented 3 years ago

Good to know. I was wondering how you managed to do that -- I wasn't able to reproduce it myself!

I have fixed it in all the issues I commented on.

mbainter commented 3 years ago

If I can get some time in the next few days I may start working through those that haven't updated and that have publicly available information about their pricing to work from and get them in this repo so we can close this out.
