Good point, thanks for the heads up!
I would like to add a similar remark, and at the same time a suggestion. The floppy disk also has a (non-)translation as "Disque Floppy". The most appropriate would be "Disquette" and this would not be doable because of current string formatting. The wikipedia article suggests "Disque souple" as lesser-known yet valid translation.
I guess "Souple" could work as semi-satisfying translation in "media-type" context.
Hi,
I found this comment:
The problem is, a Thumb Drive is "Clef USB" in french, and a SD Drive is "Disque électronique" and hard drive is "Disque dur". I can't translate correctly is the string is cut.
There is many cut strings at the end of the po file, while at the beginning, there is many strings done on purpose : not to cut strings (and it's perfect to translate)
There is many examples
or "%s %s Drive". In french I have to write: "Disque dur de 500 Gio" ou "Clef USB de 500 Gio".
Thanks a lot for your help!
