http://app.storj.io/ fails to send confirmation email and redirects to login page

Two users reported problems with login on http://app.storj.io/:

First user said he forgot his password for his existing account. He asked for password reset by clicking on "Forgot password?" button and filling out the form, but the reset confirmation email never arrived.

Second user reported the following problem with new sign up on http://app.storj.io/. He cannot sign up as new user but instead gets redirected to the login page for existing users:

here's what happen: 1. i fill in the sign up form, accept terms & conditions, then post it it redirects me to the login form i assume i should receive a confirmation email, which does not happen if i try to sign in with the ids i sign up with, it says "Invalid email or password"

So it looks like both users have login problems because they never receive a confirmation email.
