stream functions and classes refactoring vol 2 #364

This PR suppose to do the same as PR #356.

Here I start from update master. in #356 I could not make the tests run fine.

@pesekon2 Tests fail due to change in in precision. In graphs the reference and PR data looks same...

After some consideration I revise this work to the original PR #356 and I close this PR
