User's Landing page add a persistent How To Section #813

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. First time users are frequently lost despite the initial prompt to read the manual or watch a video or pull up a sample template. How can the User Experience be improved to ease a new user into their desired features without getting buried in the extent of the existing content? Add to that the existing user of StoryCAD who wants to find something they need but do not see it? The how do I tab is an invitation to learning without pushing a new user to go deeper than she wants to go.

Describe the solution you'd like Make the learning tools available as part of the start screen which StoryCad offers the returning user as well as a Newbie Screenshot 2024-09-24 202250 In addition to the existing options, Add How Do I... On this tab one could find topics including links to help documents, jump links to Video content and, perhaps a few topics covering the + button How do I add a character?

Examples, and these can be added to if the feature is persistent:

How do I add a character?

How do I enter my protangonist goals?

Where can I see a video tutorial?

I user Scrivener, does StoryCAD support this?

I like my story outline so far, how can I print it to PDF?

(just examples of topics) Any user, a first or the 100th time visitor might reach into the 'How do I" and appreciate links to videos, samples and documentation; features that exist, but are not obvious to reach and this should not require a lot of code effort: (1 tab and a few labels and links) That tree node could/should be in their tree every time StoryCad is opened (but, can be removed by the user if they desire.)

Describe alternatives you've considered How do I goes beyond a getting started page, but is more sophisticated. Done right, it is a simple tab page of prompts and links. However, if the suggestion is too much, then a simpler new user How do I section with a list of simple, straight-forward topics in a clear, uncluttered layout that assumes no familiarity with the product can be added to the getting started guide.

Additional context Expectation: If the user clicks (don't show this on start-up) then How do I should [probably] still be a topic on the Help page, and perhaps a topic in the documentation TOC.

This suggestion comes from my own experience as a long-time computer user who usually wants to dive in and fails to read the manual. I would have slammed a How do I button in a heartbeat,
