Excellent idea. Every module manually downloaded from the AzerothCore Catalogue website instead of with git has "master" added to the end of the name, correct? That should be easy enough to code those in as well to get updated. Running the SQL scripts included with the modules is easy as well. Already have that coded in my local copy. Just need to add an option for that. I don't want to force a SQL update if for some reason you want to update the module, but not mess with your database.
that makes sense, I would suggest an option such as "Would you like to update" and "would you like me to put this sql file in your database?" And yes the git master considering some people sometimes downloaded it with zip. I absolutely love your work, you are a genius though, I am jealous honestly i would never be able to code without knowledge
About the sql files, just like the sql thats usually in the folders. Thats for the people that are lazy, or has no idea how to do it, or has a low end computer like myself making it slow when opening database Maybe try all module at once see if any of them conflict with another? I never tried personally because of my computer being slow, I do have another suggestion though :)
1: Auto update azerothcore as well. maybe? im not sure i have only updated it in the past and i have no idea how to do it now and i been confused about it since
PS "1: Auto update azerothcore as well. maybe? im not sure i have only updated it in the past and i have no idea how to do it now and i been confused about it since"
I should make clear it would b good in the other app that automatic build. like example Would you like to rebuild, build, or update?
1:You guys could enable auto detect for the master versions as well. 2:Execute the sql file that is in the folders and also either create new npc or new command in case some people does not know how to use heidisql and such and makes it easier, ex) Sql creates a npc/commands/creature first, then execute the sql in the folders
