I would to include the maintainer of each project as part of the imported data. However, I don't think we have an easy way to access that.

I think that we could try scraping the Readme, but I don't think that there is enough consistency in the formatting of the data to make it easily scrapable and easy to distinguish from other credits in the README.

I don't think that this data is stored anywhere else.

I am currently considering compiling this information manually.

Here are the use cases for this data:

1) Make it easier for individuals (such as myself) to glance at a list of all the projects we maintain and check up on them. 2) Make it possible for us (as a community) to generate a list of all maintainers to better gauge the health of our contrib community 3) Make it possible to determine who the most active and prolific maintainers are and to recognize them. 4) Make it easier to make connections between projects maintained by the same person. If one person maintains an UberCart module that I like and I am able to scan their other projects, I might discover other projects that they have worked on which are of interest to me.

I welcome thoughts on:

1) If we should do this? 2) If others also think it would be helpful? 3) Better ways of collecting the data, other than manually?

I've been pulling this in manually. Making good progress. Almost 400 projects convered so far.
