It's too easy to start a belt and drag it across the room and have it end up in a different line. Would be better if while the mouse is held down the placement is locked horizontally / vertically. That is, if you hold down and move left/right, the placement is locked vertically so it can't go to another row. And if moving up/down, the placement is locked so it can't go to another column.
It also shouldn't leave gaps if you scroll too fast.
