This bug totally doesn't belong here. It belongs in wherever the bugs for the strava mobile clients go. I couldn't find where that was, so hopefully this can get put there.
I just got an email from Search and Rescue folk near Vancouver, BC and they've been having problems with people following a path on strava ("presumably they assumed that it's a running trail"). The path was marked with sac_scale=demanding_mountain_hiking which is quite definitely not a running trail.
Seeing as Strava is marketed as a running app, it's probably best to either not show these paths, or show them with some sort of climbing icon.
Here's a picture as an example, the path in question is the route up Harvey's North Ramp.
