Is it recommended to use this library when developing desktop streaming software now ?

summeroff commented 6 months ago

If it fits your use case, why not.

@ou-bing I've developed https://github.com/aza547/wow-recorder with this library.

For a long time I was using 0.23.71. I'm in the process of testing the latest version I can see which is 0.24.6. So far testing looks good.

summeroff commented 6 months ago

versions 0.24.x right now in our preview builds. 24 release includes OBS 29 update.

@summeroff @aza547

Do you have any recommended documents to read to utilize this library better?

Could you let me know which Libobs APIs I should use to complete a streaming session?

I found these helpful for getting started:

The tests in this repository, as well as the type definitions are my most current reference for how it should be used.
