Hi Johnny,
This idea is brilliant a few things that we may need to standardise or account for would be the OS that the test is run on and also then the tools for recording performance doing the basics like CPU and RAM are easy but how would we record DB performance and bandwidth.
Also if dularion likes the idea then we can put something on the official Wiki when a certain amount of devices have confirmed that it works that its "stable" and if it works but not many people have confirmed then its "community tested"
Another category would be what IOPS are required as I know that some users are running streama on hosted servers.
I would be happy to test this on some different hardware, I have an assortment of raspberry pi's of various generations and a hyper-v server where my current instance where I have tested various memory amounts before and also he availability to spin up cloud servers to test this.
I would like to run a nice benchmarking campaign for this project.
The first thing I thought when I saw streama was: who knows if I can run it on my old orangepi zero? so, for fun.
Does anyone with me have many single boards and differentiated hardware? Help me do some tests to publish on the wiki
I would like to monitor the following things:
Sorry for my english...
