4 days ago Microsoft Word's own British English dictionary accepts it, because in British English, it is acceptable to put two words together, such as:
website doorman
I think that when a word is clearly used hands-down in a language, it should certainly be regarded as at least a valid variant. (And it is, by most authorities on standard English.)

I have gotten angry email about what is / is not British English. Especially WRT ize.
