+1 drawing in the app would be neat
I would also love excalidraw.
Free users can't append images. But sometimes simple drawings are necessary for conveying ideas in notes. And I'm too poor to get the paid plan.
But don't you think a feature like this would also not be on the free plan?
What problem are you facing?
Free users can't append images. But sometimes simple drawings are necessary for conveying ideas in notes. And I'm too poor to get the paid plan.
What's the solution you'd like to see in Notesnook?
Excalidraw, an open source whiteboard drawing software thing. Drawings are local-first, and can be saved as a text file, instead of an image. Someone implemented Excalidraw into Obsidian as a plugin, which lets Obsidian add Excalidraw drawings in notes, and draw them straight from Obsidian. Even lets Obsidian render these drawings straight from the Excalidraw text files!
What alternatives have you considered?
I could use Obsidian with the Excalidraw plugin, but Notesnook feels more convenient to use and I don't need a big stinky PKMS to keep simple notes.
Additional context
Here's a text file for Excalidraw. You can open it on Excalidraw, or Obsidian with the Excalidraw plugin.
