Cannot Backspace Checkbox on Android #6423

What happened?

In the following description, the | character represents the cursor position and [ ] represents a checkbox.

If you have the following:

ABC
- [ ] |

and you press the backspace on your keyboard, you get the following:

AB|
- [ ]

rather than

ABC
|

or

ABC|

Steps to reproduce the problem

In any note, on a new line, write some text, press enter.
Click the checklist button in the toolbar to add a checkbox.
Press the backspace button.
