I also had a similar issue - I tried requesting a recovery code to my SimpleLogin alias (linked to Proton address) but it never arrived, despite it being a valid email address. Creating a new account worked fine though.
What happened?
I am unable to receive the login verification code on Proton Mail; instead, I keep receiving emails saying, "We detected a failed login attempt on your Notesnook account." When I try to use the Recovery Key as a login verification method, it shows as incorrect. I clearly set up the Authenticator app key (TOTP) during the initial login, but I can't see this verification method anywhere.
