Issue when connecting to Notesnook from work laptop (i.e. behind proxy/firewall) #927

What happened?

I am connecting to app.notesnook.com from my work laptop. I am able to login (I think that was not the case in the past) but I am not able to sync my notes. When I try to force sync, I get the following message: "Cannot send data if the connection is not in the 'Connected' State. I suppose that the issue is linked to the way I have to connect to the internet (i.e. through a proxy/firewall).

The message also appears when I don't try to force sync (e.g., when login into the app).

I have tried with both Chrome and Edge.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Not sure if you will be able to reproduce: you need to access from behind a proxy/firewall... and the issue may be due to a specific configuration used by the company I'm working with.

Web app

Hello,

I see that the issue was assigned on Sep 7; is there any news?

I understand that it may be difficult to reproduce - and difficult to solve even if it can be reproduced. But I'd like to have a sense of how likely it is to be solved.

Kind regards, Thomas

Hey @tveulemans we released quite a few versions since Sep 7 so can you give it a try again? If it is logging in then the issue isn't with the network because login contacts the same server as the sync.

Hey @thecodrr I confirm the issue is still present. I was assuming the issue arises because of our proxy/firewall configuration (I'm trying to access it from work)... If it is not due to that, maybe there's a higher chance of reproducing/solving the issue.
