I'm a bit reluctant to do so because I fear that this will use RAM that I would
rather have access to for development tasks...
Also, not having an integrated editor enables the user to choose his favorite
editor.

Since version 2.5.0 there is a (very!) simple internal editor, so users can
work with JavaIDEdroid right out of the box, without having to install further
things.
I still recommend to use an external editor for your development work.
Starting with version 2.6.0 JavaIDEdroid will only execute BeanShell scripts
that have been created with the internal editor. When saving BeanShell scripts
the internal editor will add a hash value at the top of the script. This hash
will allow JavaIDEdroid to detect unauthorized changes to the script.
