There are some ideas around already.

List of rides or structure including all current rides?

Analyze gpx find climbs, reverse geocode to get names. Controls - info needs description of location . Reciept or just food / water / loo

A start button that saves the time at beginning

Display distance to go at next point A "point complete" button that gets the time and the remaining distance and calcs speed and estimated arrival time from that.
