Ye gods I dislike git. And github. Anyway, the request is for bp.Presets.maxpat. bp.Vserialosc.maxpat can safely be ignored; it's something I hacked together for Launchpad monome emulation.

Are you using the github client? I find it is really transparent.

I've been using command-line git tools under windows (cygwin), but recently switched to TortoiseGit (I've used TortoiseSVN extensively over the past year). On OSX, it's command-line all the way. I think the main issue for me is sitting down and taking the time to learn The Git Way :) I'm very used to SVN, and git is very different.

I highly recommend the Github software for this project as well (though if you want full-featured, then SourceTree is great, but it's overkill here I think). It's really simple; I use it in my teaching.
