I figure this is already on the TODO list, but I just wanted to submit here just in case:
At the time of this bug report tpp can only work when outside of any combat mode - melee, or gun handling.
It does have sufficient animations for picking up bodies and hiding them (kudos!).
Being able to stay in TPP while shooting or punching would be another step towards an immersive experience.
