I think for now we have to accept we neither have or should develop a long-term plan of how we handle economy in game. Due to crafting being imbalanced currently game leans towards play2win too much. I consider that is something we need to address at some point. Moreover we should incentivize players trying different stuff. Therefore my suggestion is to make all prices (pets, crafting, skins) very low and accessible for now with a note, that at some later point we might refund (with return resources spent) everything. Luckily we are able to track those numbers.
I believe this is a question of huge importance, so I raised priority to 2.
It's difficult to collect resources to unlock pets and craft items because of limited amount of games.
