image.png This restriction might not be so convenient for users who want to borrow the already returned item at that exact date. Waste of resources if items are returned in the morning but others cannot borrow them in the afternoon.

Team's Response

In v2.1, the minimum duration a borrower can borrow an item is 1 day and hence, we imposed the highlighted constraint in the UG. In the example raised by the tester, the borrower can simply borrow the item the next day. This is unlikely to affect normal operations.

This is not in scope for v2.1 and could be used for improvements in further iterations.
