feat(strm-1393): removed STS and full docs update #130

STS removed because it's obsolete. Further a full documentation review, an expansion of help texts and examples, and some utility code to help with raw strings. The documentation now follows Cobra in that (sub)command explanations start with a Capital, and flag explanations start with lowercase.
