iOS Feature request: Lock Screen widget #650

Hello!

I have just set up Strongbox as a Lock Screen widget (new in iOS 16), using Lock Launcher app - which can add any app via a URL Scheme.

Being able to quickly access the app from the lock screen is extremely useful, mainly because I use handoff to a large degree from Strongbox on iOS to my Mac which doesn’t have touchID. I find this more efficient than needing to type my long password every time on the Mac app, and although not very secure, it’s more secure than leaving the Mac app open all the time to facilitate usage which is invariably what I end up doing.

Would you consider adding this functionality natively? It’s not very fluid using the method I use, (it through a up an error ‘couldn’t open file’ - I suppose due to the fact I have auto open set up for a particular database?) but it works so it’s not a problem if you don’t consider it a worthy request!

Sounds interesting, I think this would fit in with the other "Shortcut" issue we have too... You just want to launch Strongbox from the Lock Screen right? That's the meat of this issue?

Yep - exactly that.
