StrongLoop Arc has been replaced by API Connect. We recommend Arc users move to the Essentials edition of API Connect. If you have questions, please email reachsl@us.ibm.com.
I am not using the demo app, instead I'm using a brand new app generated by slc loopback.
According to the docs:
By default, Arc starts a local instance of StrongLoop Process Manager, and displays "local application" in the Hostname field. It automatically displays the process IDs (PIDs) of the local application processes and select the first PID by default. Then, it displays metrics for that PID.

However, I do not see anything when I click Load.
I can confirm I do have a valid metircs license.
