Clean up the mess created by #671 #675

671 creates two problems:

it reworks "updateOrRenameOrCreate" for model properties, but not for other entities that use the same pattern (Model, DataSource, etc.)
it relies on the fact that the id property has a certain format (facet.model.property for model properties)

We need to come up with a clean solution and apply it consistently in all client services.
