You can also appreciate how much I'd like to be able to pass properties in to appmetrics via API, not file. I gather the properties file is read deep in the oma-core which makes this difficult to implement?

It would work but ideally we should implement this in appmetrics as a parameter. We looked this week and its not that difficult as it turns out. As we are going to be spinning a new appmetrics in the next week or so, we could see if we can implement it. What do you think ?
