Speed Tracer not showing spring's Insight information #31

I'm trying out Insight and Speed Tracer. I'm not able to see any Insight
information on Speed Tracer (I've done the same as on the video available at
http://www.springsource.org/insight).

Insight it self works: I'm able to drill down until the SQL statements.
Speed Tracer seams to work either even if
- I don't see Request and Response headers (see also issue 28,
http://code.google.com/p/speedtracer/issues/detail?id=28&q=header)
- nor Insight information.

I'm using the latest versions of every tools:
SpringSource Tool Suite 2.5.1
Chrome 9.0.572.1
Speed Tracer (by Google) - Version: 0.18

And I'm working on Mac OS X 10.6.5.

Thanks in advance for any hint on this regard.

Hi Andrea,

I don'`t see Request and Response headers neither and I have no back-end info
integration using version 9.0.587.0dev on Mac. However it looks that it works
in version 9.0.570.0 on Windows VMWare.

I'm testing in it with http://sticky-surfaces.appspot.com application. I
download it from here: http://filehippo.com/es/download_google_chrome/

I hope tha thist help you.

Ciao,

Juan Mahíllo

Hi Juan

thanks for the info. Did you tried with 9.0.570.0 on Mac?

I'm having the same issue with
Chrome 9.0.597.0 dev
Speed Trace 0.18
springsource-tc-server-developer-2.1.0.RELEASE
on Windows Vista

speedtracer installation doc recommends to install "Google Chrome Developer
Channel version of Google Chrome". With with version no request/response
headers and no server trace (no "pillpox" icon). I unsinstalled this version
and installed the "standard" one 8.0.552.215 -> headers and server trace
displayed correctly !

Does not work for me also. I tried to use both Dev and Beta Chrome (9.0.597.0)
on Win7x64. I also installed latest Chromium (10.0.604.0). I can not see
Insight information in SpeedTracer.
I downgraded to Chrome Stable (version 8) and everything works there.
I looks like a regression bug, or Spring Insight must upgrade their integration
with SpeedTracer.
