Plugin as Bungeecord plugin / CloudNet module #25

Hey, Im very excited of your Plugin and would like to use it gladly but it throws an error when I put it in the plugins folder of my bungeecord. Is there a way to run the plugin with bungeecord or better with CloudNet.

Current versions of ServerlistMOTD don't support Bungeecord, sorry! :( I dropped support for it with the version change to X due to amount of work to get it fully running on Bungee with all features. Though, there is an old version of ServerlistMOTD from 2017 which enabled you to use ServerlistMOTD on a Bungee proxy with a very limited feature set. You can find it here but I wouldn't recommend using it.

IIRC not included features are:

Command is /bmotd I think.

Is there any way we could get you to give an updated version for bungee cord? just one update?

Is the old version not working anymore? What !minimum! feature set would you expect from an updated version?

The old version is dead no longer workds. tbh just an update that works is fine btw. I think there are more people than just me that want this back for bungee because it was so good. I mean it is really up to you. But we would like to think that it will get one last update to bring all the new features to bungee and have a working version.

Bringing all features to Bungee is probably not going to happen, or at least in the near future. I could probably push an update with the standard + random motd + some extras. But I am not sure it's worth the time because there are many good alternatives out there specializing on Bungee... But you let me know.

Not sure what's "hip" today, but ServerListPlus is a well known alternative you might want to look into. If you are still interested in a ServerlistMOTD version für Bungee, let me know. If enough people speak up here, I will definitely reconsider.

@strumswell I as well would really love a complete update for Bungeecord. A lot of the features in your plugin is amazing and it's a shame we can't use it on bigger servers. You mentioned ServerListPlus as an options, but it hasn't been updated since 2017 and lags a lot of new features.
