[Request] Option to Hide Tray Icon #6

Please include an option to Hide the tray icon, so that the program can run invisibly if the user chooses.

In order to display the KeepAliveHD window, the user would simply run the keepaliveHd.exe again (or a shortcut to it) and this would restore the window from its hidden state.

The Window "tray" notification area is really meant for programs that send notifications and alerts to the user, rather than being just a quick launch area. Once I have set up my KeepAliveHD options, I have little need to keep changing them on a regular basis, so the icon always being present in the notification area is somewhat redundant. Windows can prevent a tray icon from displaying permanently on the taskbar, but it can't remove it from the notification area altogether.

Having the option to show or hide the KeepAliveHD icon lets the user decide for themselves how they wish to use it.

Thanks!

This is a very old post but I came to ask for the same thing! Please add this functionality, or does anyone know of a way to do it without having to install more third-party software?
