[low] Contribute to Eclipse? #13

Spelling nowadays is usual feature in any Editor. So users don't search for it. So it is hard to make them discover this plugin.

Also as this plugin depends on Eclipse JDT internals, it's future is questionable as those internals can changes some day. (While you can be busy to recall code you depends on a year ago)

I'd be happy to - I guess I don't really know how to? Or at least thought that it was too hard. I know some effort to lower the barrier has gone on lately so might be worth reconsidering.

Just start by raise a bug against JDT. And share here. I also am interested how to.

We just had conversation with @mickaelistria and Max Rydahl Andersen from JBoss Tools about "Eclipse process vs just OSS"

It may sound harsh, but I have the impression that many people just take the process as an excuse for not contributing, without having even evaluated the difficulty of adopting it or even tried it. I've sometimes heard "it's not on GitHub, I don't know how to contribute, so I don't contribute". In such case, it's also the responsibility of the developer to learn things and ask for questions in order to become a contributor. The Foundation isn't to blame. People who want to do things can do them, that's all that matters.

I do wonder what real overhead is. So lets count time spent.
