New Entity: The Spinal Worm #2968

Feature description

Okay this is about to get... kind of disgusting. Shield your eyes, folks!

The Spinal Worm, or spinal leech, is a new entity! Wow! Amazing! It would look like... a worm. It'd be small, probably a little smaller than a limb like the forearm, with a large middle part. It'd be 3 jointed parts, and floppy like a worm. "Okay but what does it do?" you say. I know. I can hear you. Anyways, the spinal worm would do something slightly odd. It'd burrow into people. Yeah, ew. When it touches any limb it will burrow into it, creating blood particles, and a small bleeding wound on the point it hit. It would disappear, never to return. Boring, right? Not at all. The affected limb will turn slightly red, and in the inspect menu it would say "Cerebrum Interfector Onset". A disease. Okay, but what does this do? Limbs with Cerebrum Interfectorem Onset would do these 2 things:

Wow! Amazing! But can you cure it? Well, today is your lucky day because yes! You can cure it with tritium, because radioactivity cures all terminal illnesses. (Obviously life syringe too.) However, after 30 seconds it turns into just regular Cerebrum Interfector. Well, what'd this do?

Wow! Amazing! But can you cure it? Well, today is your lucky day because no. No you can't. The only way to remove the infection is to remove the affected limb. And you better do it fast, because the last thing it can do is terrible. After 15 seconds of having Cerebrum Interfector, the body part it is connected to (Such as the upper arm if infected in the forearm, or if infected in a limb with 2 connected parts such as the middle torso, it infects both of them) gains Cerebrum Interfector Onset. So it spreads throughout the body. Everything is.. fine?.. until something important happens. It reaches the brain stem. As soon as this happens the person loses all consciousness and drops. 5 seconds later, they gain brain death, then real death. But then something interesting happens. They come back alive, but as a husk of a person. They are no longer human. As soon as they wake up, the rest of their body becomes a deep, dark red. They are able to bleed again, but this isn't human blood. It's Spinal Worm Blood. The person becomes fully infected. Here's what happens:

Wow! Amazing! But can you cure it? No, why would you think that? Anyways, that is it.

Feature purpose

Less than adequate number of entities. I know, I know, coding is hard. But all we have is a way too weak human, a regular spider acid thing that isn't that fun to mess around with, and a way too durable robot. A new entity may get people more interested in the game, which means they will buy the game, which means m o n e y. Also, messing around with humans is fun. Imagine setting up a lab, putting a human in a test area, and unleashing a killer worm on them. Oh, and you have wanted to make diseases, as you have said. This could probably be a good test to see if you really can do it. It would help you learn how to make the diseases, or at least a neat challenge. It is in SOME, BASIC form as the zombie syringe, but not really. At all. Also, new entity.

Additional context

Cerebrum Interfector means "Brain Killer". Don't use google translate, apparently it means assassins creed, but then if you try to turn assassins creed into Latin it's a totally different thing. No picture this time :(

Cerebrum is English, nonetheless, translating it from Latin to English it always means “Brain Killer”.

ah thanks for the clarification, did you like the idea?

ah thanks for the clarification, did you like the idea?

Pretty sure there's been a feature-request for an entity just like this, otherwise, decent idea I guess.

inferknob commented 1 year ago

No, just worms, not this thing.

DindinYT37 commented 1 year ago

Well, it sounds similar to the parasite that was requested before.

inferknob commented 1 year ago

Similar...... i guess. Not quite, though.

inferknob commented 1 year ago

Also it's barely similar

DindinYT37 commented 1 year ago

Well, both enter the body through the chest and then apply changes to the body.

inferknob commented 1 year ago

I never said they enter through the chest

this is a really well thought out suggestion!

Thanks
