I made a post about this awhile ago but didn't know what was causing my contraptions to break. Turns out, it was the "Fish Black Magic" mod by NeitherFishNorCat. when you have this mod activated and try to spawn a contraption, the contraption falls apart, especially if the contraption includes guns.

Download the 'Fish Black Magic" mod and try to spawn in a contraption with a human and guns included.
