I'm pretty sure zooi said no to water physics a long time ago.

He did, but I'm unsure whether this is actually water physics or not, since this is more of a decorative thing, instead of something that requires much processing power.

The puddles are static and are mainly intended to be decorative

Then there's a legitimate chance it might be added.
Feature description When a fluid stream is concentrated in one area for long enough, a static puddle of that fluid will begin to form. Puddles expand horizontally slowly the more fluid is poured. When an object makes contact with a puddle, it makes a small splash effect. When containers are splashed around in puddles, the container gets a small amount of the liquid from the puddle. Humans will very slowly absorb fluids from puddles, unless the fluid is blood. (Prevents blood puddles from not letting humans bleed out.) Puddles slowly evaporate in hot temperatures, and on contact with hot objects, which makes a sizzling noise.
Feature purpose The purpose of the feature would be to make fluids more realistic, and also to add more immersion to the blood system.
