Auto-save question at opening program #166

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Just start the program.

After clicking away the other two issues I get this message. I always use save
buttons from the program. So what's going wrong?

What version of the product are you using? 3.21.0
On what operating system? eComStation 1.2NL (OS/2)

Are you maybe running two instances of DIYLC at the same time? Can you try
deleting config.xml file and starting only one instance of DIYLC?

Deleted the config.xml, but message still appears. Enclosed new created
config.xml by the program. The program is ended with the menu option, for me
the preferred way. So no destroying window or exit with cross and similar
actions. So why does it say "abnormalExit" = "true"?

Hi

I've also had this happen often. I also shut down "correctly".

A couple of times I've lost a few hours work when the Auto Save offered was
much older than the saved file. I wasn't sure if Y or N was the correct choice.

I was running XP with v 3.23 but having spotted v3.27 I've upgraded to that.
Like the ability to add shapes, very nice.

I'll see what happens with the latest version.

Hi
Tried vers 3.27 had the "Auto Save did not shut down etc" as detailed above.
It seems to happen after at least every 3 openings.

I also note that the Save Template feature is inactive. Is this correct?
I've tried opening old version files, importing them and new projects. It is
disabled in all instances.
