Add Unity's official Animation Rigging package Unity IK animation tips 1 IK rigging in Blender Unity procedural mech walker

Looks like I can't avoid needing bones for inverse kinematics

Process so far:

  1. Model in BlockBench
  2. Export .gltf
  3. Import in Blender
  4. Apply transforms to parts with rotations
  5. Add armature
  6. Export as .fbx
  7. Import into Unity Reference for how the hierarchy should look
  8. Set up rig
