[Suggestion] Taint is a bit too destructive?

So yeah, first of all, in game I moved to a village that I found then occupied a house only for Lacrimis devices after that I went deep below underground, I spent two hours or three hours gathering resources, building and other stuff, then I want back to the up to the surface and I found the entire village consumed by taint blocks, I think the Taint appears because of me because I broke a crucible full of tears to move it and I didn't notice the taint.

My suggestions are:

• Config file that enables/disables destructive state of Taint block
• Or a gamerule
• Or removing the destructive state of the Taint block, only keeping the poison effect

I am pretty sure that the guide book says to be careful about breaking crucibles, but a gamerule is probably fair. I do want it to be dangerous to mess with and important to watch out for, but I can accept that some people would want to skip that, and I guess it falls into a similar category as mob greifing.
