Hello 👋 I'm all for improved accessibility, thanks for making this issue! I'll definitely prioritize this alongside the other epub.js reader tasks. The current design for this component is quite bad (at least IMO), and it isn't even complete. But, I think some of the issues you mentioned might resolve themselves once I implement a proper redesign (e.g. not being able to select the first word without an overlay appearing). I'll be sure to mention this issue once relevant changes are available.
Cool, thanks :)
Hey 👋 I'm planning to try and tackle this over the weekend. If you still have a Stump instance up and/or discovered any additional accessibility issues, let me know and I'll try and correct them along with what you outlined above
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Hello, I have dyslexia so I like to use edge's read aloud for almost all reading. Unfortunately the reader is not well suited for it. The title of the book gets read first if I start the reader without choosing a word. Therefore it would be nice if the book title could be removed in some mode. Also when I try to choose the first word to start reading I am unable because the menu overlays it. It would also be nice if the text of the whole chapter could be on the page. This would not force me to start the reader over again so much. Scrolling is okay.
This is free software and you don't owe me anything. I understand you got your hands quite full, but I thought I'd at least give the feedback
Best wishes,
Audun
