You can definitely investigate doing fetches on a reasonably spaced interval (e.g. every 30 seconds), there is probably a React feature I am forgetting about for this

If possible, lets add a "Last refreshed ... seconds ago" timer, but that's purely for aesthetics so it isn't on top priority
