Hi

Will you be updating the Apple iOS section soon with the latest emoji's that are available. Would like to use in Pidgin along with WhatsApp Purple, but currently have some emoji's missing (recent ones).

Thanks

Oh yeah,

to add the new emojis you have to:

  1. Replace the old font files (.ttf) with new ones which include the new emojis
  2. Add the UTF-8 Hex encoding to the symbols.txt file
  3. Rerun the generate.sh script

I would be very happy to merge the new emojis into my repository :-)

@stv0g Not sure if this helps but this is the .ttf file I have manually added on my Android device that includes the latest emojis from iOS 9.1. Link is from a post on XDA.

Thanks for all your help.

Can you verify, that it’s the same one which I added today to the repository? I took this one from OS X 10.10 which also includes the newer emojis

@stv0g Appreciate the prompt response. Not being a MAC user I've had to carry out some research on the Internet. It would appear that OS X 10.10 has the same emoji set as iOS 8.x. OS X 10.11.1 however has the same emoji set as iOS 9.1.

Not sure how easy it would be to pull all the emojis from OS X 10.11.1??

Hi @stv0g

Hope you are keeping well. Have you updated your OS X recently? I believe there is a new emoji set. If you could do the honours and update your repository then that would be great. :-)

Thanks
